How my mental projector business model evolved from subscriptions to transformational intensives
This is part 3 of my 8-part (Mental) Projector business experiment series where I’m ditching strategies that drain me and rebuilding around my authentic design.

There was a moment when I almost convinced myself it made sense.
Everyone in the business mentoring world was telling me I needed “ongoing payments” to be truly free in my business. Memberships, payment plans, constant cash flow — that was the holy grail, apparently.
They’d lure you in with special pricing: “Jump into this year-long membership and get 1 month for free!”
And then, once you’re inside, you realize people aren’t even using the space. Or worse — you’re sitting through hours-long masterclasses with no presentation, no notes, just a mentor who enjoys listening to themselves talk.
Every. Single. Week.
That’s not time efficient. Even at university, I didn’t need to sit in classes for hours to learn a topic. The best learning happened through individual work, projects, case studies — not passively listening to someone “contemplating on this or that.”
But I was told this was the foundation of a successful (mental projector) business model.
The 6-Week Challenge That Broke Me
Let me tell you about the time I actually tried this approach.
I was in a massive identity crisis, thinking I should become a fitness trainer to “make up” for my corporate years. (I know, crazy — but that’s a story for another time.)
This business mentor convinced me to run a free 6-week challenge. “Show up every week,” she said. “Build your audience.”
So I did. I kept showing up for them every fu*king week.
And at the end of it? I was fu*king exhausted.
That’s when I realized traditional business models weren’t aligned with my mental projector business model needs.
Why I Refuse to Recreate Corporate in My Business
You know what those weekly calls reminded me of? Corporate team meetings.
Sitting there, forced to listen to whatever everyone else was doing, creating more noise instead of being productive. I never enjoyed the 9-to-5 (or 7-to-3, or whatever) because the best way I work is in creative bursts of energy.
I might have 3 days when I’m totally into something — so fulfilled, finishing everything because I hate leaving work undone. Then I might not “do” anything for a week. And that’s okay.
But weekly calls? They feel like a leash.
As a Mental Projector, my clarity doesn’t come from routine. It comes from space, from recognition, from speaking when the insight is ready. This realization completely shifted how I approach my mental projector business model.
The High School English Class Analogy
This brings me back to high school English class. (I am not a native speaker)
I’d sit there, silently waiting to be called on. When my turn came, I’d say my sentence (no problem) and then listen to other people struggle to create simple sentences for the entire hour.
My head was screaming: Oh my god, why?
Now, this might sound like I think I’m better than everyone — but that’s not it. There are just situations where we’re around certain people and we’re totally wasting our potential.
And that’s something I don’t want to do with my clients. I don’t want to do it as a client either.
The Problem with “Projector Business Gurus”
Here’s what’s funny: there are many projector entrepreneurs who claim to have the “holy grail” of projector business. Yet they’re doing the exact same grinding, corporate-style approach.
Some of them are great. Others? Really not cool. You can see the not-self screaming out of them, but they position themselves as the go-to business mentors for projectors.
Meanwhile, people like Dani Gardner are taking a completely different approach. She’s a 2/4 line, I’m a 6/2. We second lines need to hermit from time to time. Meeting people on a regular basis throughout the whole year? That’s not something we naturally thrive in.
As a Mental Projector with my whole body undefined, I feel the connection to moon cycles (like Reflectors, but with a different flavor). Some weeks I’m bursting with energy, others I need space.
Weekly meetings make me want to scream and run far away. That’s why I’ve designed my mental projector business model around intensive containers instead.
My Energy Is a Transmission, Not a Subscription
What I bring isn’t meant to babysit you week after week.
It’s meant to shift you.
To unlock something you can’t unsee.
And that doesn’t require 12 months of Zoom calls or a Slack channel that pings at midnight.
It requires depth. It requires intensity. It requires the right moment.
What My Mental Projector Business Model Looks Like Instead
When I work with people in intensive sessions, it doesn’t necessarily mean just one single session. It might mean working together for 2-3 months with occasional check-ins via voice memo or text.
Now, this doesn’t mean I’m never offering group programs. I do believe it’s helpful to be in a group of like-minded individuals — but certainly not all year long with weekly calls where people are at totally different levels.
Instead, I’m planning 4-6 month intensive masterminds where everyone starts at the same point. Think: “Build An Authentic Business Empire That Reflects Your True Design” — a focused mastermind for visionary entrepreneurs ready to build their entire business model from their authentic core using advanced Human Design and energetic principles.
In fact, you can join the waitlist for this mastermind by filling out the form here (yes, I will only be contacting you regarding the mastermind, no other e-mail clutter) — I’ll keep you posted on launch details and early bird pricing.
I might even offer memberships eventually, but without the classic weekly call model. Maybe people submit questions and I answer via voice messages once or twice per month. It’s all subject to evolution.
Here’s how I serve best right now:
- One-off intensives that shift your trajectory
- Personalized reports like my Ideal Client Decoder — the only Human Design ideal client decoder that’s actually personalized to YOU, not generic buyer types
- High-impact 1:1 when the fit is right, with optional support
- Intensive masterminds (coming soon) where everyone starts together
I’d rather give you 90 minutes that change your year than 12 calls you forget by next month.
I’m not going to tell you about “all the buyer types” and how you’re “missing out on income” if you don’t speak to every single one. Please stop. That’s not what this is about.
We want success on our own terms. We want to love our lives, not get lost in the “do more, earn more, everything more” mindset.
I know it’s “what everyone else is doing.”
But I’m not everyone else.
This is my mental projector business model:
Intensity over consistency.
Transmission over subscription.
And honestly? It feels like freedom.
Ready to build a business around your authentic energy? I’m working on a mini-course (around €50) — either “How to Be Authentic in Your Business and Still Be Successful” or “How to Build an Authentic Brand (and Stop Feeling Fake)” — maybe both! If you want to be the first to know when it launches, grab my €22 branding audit and I’ll keep you in the loop.
What’s one “proven” business strategy that makes you want to run away screaming? I’d love to hear about your own deconditioning journey.
