8 BUSINESS STRATEGIES I'm Letting Go of as a Mental Projector

My Mental Projector Business Experiment: 8 Strategies I’m Letting Go Of to Grow in 2025

How I’m building a successful (Mental) Projector business by releasing strategies that drain my energy and embracing my authentic design

The (Mental) Projector Business Awakening

I’ve been thinking about this for a long time.

Deconditioning doesn’t happen overnight — it’s a gradual process. And as I’ve become more aware of my true nature through Human Design, I started to question everything I’d been doing in my business and career so far.

Instead of giving me the freedom being a Mental Projector entrepreneur was supposed to bring, I found myself more and more glued to my phone.
Because:

“You have to be live every day.”
“You have to show up in your stories.”
“You have to do this… you have to do that.”

Bull$hit.

I’m a Mental Projector in business.
And there’s a huge difference between attention and recognition.

Guess what short-form social media thrives on?
Attention.

With attention spans shrinking, you have to scream to be heard — and when you pair that with an undefined Throat Center, it’s a recipe for disaster. You end up attracting people who never intended to buy anything. And if you do sell to them? You feel miserable, because they weren’t the right clients.

I’ve always loved writing, narrating, and having deep conversations. The answer to how I’m best designed to market myself has been here all along — but I didn’t see it. Every business mentor I ever paid projected their version of marketing onto me, until I forgot who I truly was.

Then one day, nursing my child with my phone in hand, I had the moment: No.
This is not why I started my business.

So I’m doing something different. I’m letting go of the strategies that drain me and rebuilding my Mental Projector business around my authentic energy, my identity-first branding values, and my deeper vision for the future.

Why I’m Letting Go of These “Proven” Strategies in My (Mental) Projector Business

As a Mental Projector entrepreneur, my energy isn’t built for constant output.
I don’t have the motor power to endlessly “show up” — and that’s my gift, not my weakness.

I want to build a Human Design business rooted in:

  • Recognition over attention — Quality connections trump vanity metrics
  • Depth over dopamine — Transformation beats quick hits
  • Long-term discovery over algorithm chasing — Searchable content wins
  • Transformation over transactions — Sacred energy boundaries

This (Mental) Projector business experiment isn’t about doing nothing.
It’s about doing the right things — and doing them in the right rhythm for me.

8 Strategies I’m Letting Go Of in My Projector Business

8 business strategies i'm letting go of to grow in 2025 as a mental projector entrepreneur

1. Freebies I Don’t Believe In

When I saw Dani Gardner’s no-freebie approach, I knew instantly it was right for me — despite what marketing gurus say. I want people to value my work enough to invest in it.

2. “Comment INFO” Engagement Tricks

If you can’t click a link in my bio or visit my site, you’re not ready for my work. My energy is sacred, and I’m not here to handhold the self-led.

3. Long-Term Containers That Drain Me

My energy isn’t a subscription. It’s a transmission. I’m here to unlock something you can’t unsee, not babysit you for 12 Zoom calls.

4. Social Media Apps on My Phone

I deleted them. Left most Facebook groups. Chose to root my business in legacy, not algorithms. Evergreen content, searchable platforms, and energetic peace.

5. Hook-Based Marketing Tactics

I don’t manipulate curiosity; I activate it. The ones who are ready feel it — no bait required.

6. Consistency as a Goal

I don’t want bunnies that need constant feeding. I want lions, ready for the run of their lives. Potency over routine.

7. Constant Availability

You can access my work, but not me on demand. Buy or bye. My energy is sacred.

8. Selling Products Instead of Portals

You don’t buy my offers for “stuff.” You buy them to become someone you’ve only glimpsed. Transformation, not clutter.
